Chapters are a great way to stay connected to Meredith! If you are interested in meeting and interacting with other Meredith alumnae in your area, contact the chapter leader or staff liaison and find out how you can get involved. Most chapters meet several times a year and provide a wide range of educational, social and service activities.
Currently, Meredith has chapters in California, Colorado, D.C., Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. View Chapters
If there is not an active chapter in your area and you want to get one started, contact the Alumnae Office (919) 760-8548 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Whether you're near or far, you have opportunities to attend events, volunteer, become active in special interest groups and further your career and education. We encourage you to strengthen your ties to the College, to create new friendships and networking opportunities and to serve the students of today and of future generations by starting a chapter in your area (a chapter is defined by alumnae living in the same area. Chapters are developed by region).
The goal of a chapter is to provide alumnae with opportunities to network and connect with other alumnae in their area and to stay current with the happenings at Meredith College.
Every alumna of Meredith College is automatically a member of the Meredith College Alumnae Association. Membership in the Alumnae Association makes it possible for the College to support future alumnae and student programs and to assist with chapter events.
Ideally, a chapter would hold at least two events per year. Possible events include networking events, educational or cultural events, updates from a current faculty or staff members, and/or other social events. In coordinating your events, you will work with a member of the Alumnae Office staff. Prior to your event, the Alumnae Office will provide name tags, publications, and giveaways for the event.
The Alumnae Office will mail the invitations for your chapter events. We provide this service for up to three events per year. If needed, we can also take the responses for the events as well.
Meredith College owns all mailing lists. Mailing lists provided to chapters for events should only be used to solicit participation in the event. All other uses are strictly prohibited.
