Information for Homeschooled Applicants
As a homeschooled student, you have a unique perspective on life and a unique approach to academic study. We welcome your contributions and look forward to helping you continue your studies at Meredith. Here you’ll find a diverse and friendly community, a challenging academic program, and countless opportunities to enjoy new experiences and make new friends.
Because the academic experience of homeschooled students vary, the credentials used in the evaluation of an application are established on an individual basis. Homeschooled applicants are required to submit the same information as any other student, but additional information may be necessary to properly evaluate your application.Every applicant is required to submit the following items:
- Completed Application Form
- Nonrefundable U.S. $40 fee
- SAT or ACT scores
- Official High School Transcript
- School Official Recommendation Form
Optional:
- Teacher Recommendation Form
- Personal Statement /Essay
The following additional items may be required for homeschooled students:
- Three SAT II Subject Tests
- English
- Mathematics
- One of the student’s choice, Foreign Language recommended
- Two recommendations from references not related to the applicant
- Interview with an admissions officer
