Question: What is your favorite Meredith tradition, memory or experience?

Answer: My favorite Meredith tradition is the production of Alice in Wonderland, where faculty and staff members put on the play for Meredith students. It’s great to see a tradition that students, faculty and staff all enjoy. There’s a lot of speculation on who will be playing which part, which is not revealed until opening night. It’s so fun to see your professors dressed up in full costume for the show. This tradition only occurs every four years, so you definitely don’t want to miss it!

Question: Do you have a personal connection to Meredith?

Answer: I am an alumna from the Class of 2005, and I graduated with my MBA in December 2010.

Question: What would be your one piece of advice for students engaged the college search process?

Answer: Visit Campus. A campus visit is essential when selecting a college. It’s the sure way to find your best fit. You get a firsthand view of the school and campus life, something you can’t get from letters, brochures and websites.

Question: Why Meredith?

Answer: Meredith is unique in that it’s a small college with big opportunities for its students. Meredith is a close-knit community nestled in the center of Raleigh. The smaller size allows for plenty of personal attention and one-on-one work with professors who get to know you as a person. Meredith challenges you, prepares you for the world. Students have access to many opportunities to make them successful, from research projects and leadership positions, to internships and career counseling. There’s something for everyone here, and Meredith provides the tools to succeed.
