Answer: I do now! And I am very happy to be here.Question: What would be your one piece of advice for students engaged in the college search process?
Answer: Take a few deep, cleansing breaths! No really, this can be a stressful process, but it is an amazing and important process. Be aware of the things you want in a college community and the things that you do not want. Also, be open to ideas that emerge while exploring your options.Question: Why Meredith?
Answer: Meredith is a wonderful and very close-knit community in an absolutely amazing city. This is an empowering environment where you will be respected as a student and as a woman. There are so many terrific opportunities for education – inside and outside of the classroom. Also, Raleigh is a beautiful and exciting place to call home!Question: What is the benefit of an all-women’s education?
Answer: I believe there is a level of comfort, camaraderie and respect at women’s colleges that sets them apart from other types of institutions.Question: What has best prepared you to serve as the new Assistant Director of Admissions for Transfers and Adult students at Meredith?
Answer: As a higher education professional, I am passionate about helping students find the right direction on their journey of higher education. Transfer and Adult students come to Meredith looking to enhance their education, lives and careers. I have the experience and education required to truly help students benefit from the decision to attend and succeed at Meredith College.
