ADJUNCT FACULTY EMPLOYMENT CHECKLIST

All adjunct faculty must provide the following information to the Vice President for Academic Programs (VPAP) before a contract can be issued. If you have questions about these requirements, contact the office of the VPAP.

  • An updated resume that includes the following information:
    • Academic credentials, including undergraduate and other degrees, showing date, schools, honors and activities; professional license(s), if relevant;
    • Professional publications and activities;
  • Official transcripts (both undergraduate and graduate) for each degree you have received.
    • If you believe you have already sent a transcript, please contact the office of the VPAP.
    • This information is required by SACS (the accrediting agency for Meredith College) and will be kept strictly confidential.
If you are a new employee, you will need to fill out paperwork with Human Resources within three days of beginning employment. Contact Kay Miller at 760-8526 to arrange a time and discuss what information / documents you will need to bring with you.
