Congratulations on your decision to attend Meredith! Over 100 new transfer students each year find a supportive community of professional staff and faculty here to help them achieve academic goals. We hope this page will answer many initial questions that you may have about transferring to Meredith.
Information for Newly Admitted Transfers
Along with your admit letter, you have hopefully received an enrollment handbook—containing a wealth of information related to enrollment and campus resources—along with your preliminary transfer credit evaluation and course-by-course equivalency evaluation. Of particular interest are the forms inside the handbook which should be submitted to the Office of Admissions in a timely manner prior to matriculation. If not already done, you should have completed your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), submitted tax and W-2 forms, and be working with the Office of Financial Assistance to learn of your aid package and cost of attendance.
Upon receipt of your deposit towards tuition, you should receive a letter with your Meredith email and password. Once you log in, you’ll find an email notifying you of WebAdvisor and Blackboard passwords. The WebAdvisor password is used for online registration. Once you have been advised and have registered—further information follows—you can obtain your student ID (“cam card”) and parking sticker from the Campus Police building at the rear of campus. Books can be purchased from the campus supply store in the Cate Student Center. Or, transfers may wait until orientation to take care of ID, parking sticker, and books.
