Meredith in Italy: The Palazzo Alberti / Tuscan Intensives

Walled city of Anghiari, a short ride away from Sansepolcro.

Tuscan Intensives are two-week continuing education programs for alumnae, faculty, staff, and community friends of Meredith College.

Strolling through city streets in Anghiari.Did you ever dream of studying in Italy but never had the opportunity? Perhaps you have already tossed a coin in the Trevi Fountain and have been looking for an opportunity to return? Here is your chance. Meredith College offers affordable mini-classes in Tuscany designed especially for alumnae, faculty, staff, and community friends of Meredith College to give an opportunity to visit the Palazzo Alberti, Meredith’s site in Sansepolcro, Italy.

Tuscan Intensives are enriched by daily excursions and independent travel opportunities in Tuscany and Umbria. Participants will receive a comprehensive pre-departure packet providing helpful information on numerous logistical concerns, including transportation, currency, packing, and a detailed itinerary. Unique shopping and dining opportunities abound in the region as well as historical, artistic and cultural treasures.

“This was a dream come true! To be in such a charming town, living amongst the Italians, shopping in the markets, cooking delicious dishes, making new friends—what more could one ask for! La dolce vita!”
Jeanne P. Emmerson, friend and cooking partner of Debbie Marks, Class of 1984
