Graduates of the social work program have accepted positions in social service agencies, public schools, hospitals, mental health settings, long-term care facilities, agencies that serve abused and neglected children and victims of domestic violence, and programs that provide a variety of services to the aging population. Others have chosen to pursue a Masters of Social Work degree.

Graduates of the Social Work Program are eligible to apply for advanced standing in most Master of Social Work (MSW) graduate programs. Students accepted for graduate school advanced standing typically complete the MSW in a six-week summer session and two semesters rather than the traditional four semesters.
