Fashion Merchandising & Design

The fashion merchandising and design program at Meredith is unique because it effectively combines academics with industry. You’ll acquire a strong foundation in the theories and practices used in the fashion industry and have many opportunities to apply what you have learned. Your education at Meredith will prepare you for jobs in retail, wholesale, and design.

Meredith students connect with the local fashion industry by creating window displays in retail stores, presenting fashion shows, helping national designers in the local area, and competing in design competitions. Our longstanding Paris Fashion Program offers unique opportunities in the world’s fashion capital.



Fashion Merchandising and Design students have the opportunity to complete internships with top designers, retailers, and magazines in the fashion world. Our students’ recent internship placements include Michael Kors and Vogue magazine in New York City, and Elie Saab and Rick Owens in Paris. Read more »
