As part of the General Education curriculum, Meredith requires students to complete a course of study in one foreign language.
To satisfy the foreign language competency requirement, students are encouraged to build on their knowledge of the foreign language studied in high school by taking the appropriate foreign language courses early in their college career. The department will place students at the appropriate level of a foreign language on the basis of placement exam results and high school units.
The next testing date for competency exam and advanced testing (AT) will be on Wednesday, April 20th at 10:00 a.m. in the Joyner Lab (103) which is located on the first floor of Joyner Hall. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Astrid Billat at email@example.com.
