For Faculty

         The Case for Service Learning:

Faculty members find that Service Learning enriches their teaching by utilizing an approach to learning that is more student-centered than a traditional lecture format. Through Service Learning faculty become more aware of the social issues that overlap with their academic areas of interest. Service Learning also creates opportunities for professional development, research and publication.
