Non-Meredith Semester & Summer Programs

In order to offer the widest variety of options to our students, Meredith has established relationships with a number of educational institutions who operate study abroad programs for U.S. college students.  These organizations offer study abroad opportunities in many different countries around the world.  Visit their web sites (listed below) to learn more about the programs they offer.

We realize that the number of programs can be overwhelming.  Please feel free to contact the Office of International Programs for an appointment to discuss the options available that might best meet your interests.  Our advisors will be happy to help you identify the organizations and programs that would be most suitable for you.

Once you have decided on an appropriate program.  Please contact the Office of International Programs for an application.  Your participation must be approved by the OIP prior to participation in any study abroad experience.  For non-Meredith programs students must be earning a 2.5 cumulative Meredith GPA and be in good social and financial standing with the college. Application deadlines for non-Meredith programs follow this general schedule: Summer/Fall applications are typically due on March 1st and Spring applications on October 1st.  Please see the Office of International Programs for more information about application deadlines and submission requirements.

Students participating in non-Meredith programs pay their program fees directly to the program provider.  Financial aid from the college is available to assist in paying for these costs, students should meet with a financial aid advisor to learn the details of this process.  In addition, Meredith College bills an administrative fee of $400 for students who elect to study abroad on a non-Meredith program.
